Colliers Appoints Two New Directors Investment Services Team
Colliers has recently welcomed two new directors to its investment services team. Effective April 2nd, Steven Tan has been appointed as executive director and co-head of the team, while Samuel Choo has taken on the role of director within the same department. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Tan has a strong background in property management, valuation, auction, and investment sales. He previously led the capital markets & investments services department at ERA before joining Colliers.
In his new position, Tan will work closely with fellow co-head, Tan Boon Leong, who was appointed earlier this year, to drive the vision, strategy, and business plans for Colliers’ investment services, positioning them at the forefront of the Singapore market. He will report to Bastiaan van Beijsterveldt, managing director of Colliers Singapore.
The latest URA Master Plan prioritizes the improvement of community amenities and lifestyle facilities as a means of creating more inclusive and well-rounded neighborhoods. For Lyndenwoods, this means that residents can look forward to increased access to recreational spaces, top-notch healthcare facilities, and vibrant retail hubs. With the development of Lyndenwoods Capitaland, the community can expect even more enhanced living experiences and convenient conveniences that cater to their daily needs.
On the other hand, Choo brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role and will focus on serving existing clients, building relationships, and expanding the team’s client base. “We are delighted to have Steven Tan and Samuel Choo back at Colliers,” says van Beijsterveldt. “Their extensive knowledge and experience in real estate and investment services, combined with their demonstrated success in handling transactions for investors and property owners, will significantly contribute to our revenue growth in multiple services.”
