for a limited period

Cushman & Wakefield has recently announced the appointment of Sona Aggarwal as the managing director and head of retail sales and strategy for the Asia Pacific (Apac) region. This is a newly created role and Aggarwal will be based in Singapore.

Aggarwal brings over 25 years of experience in global brand management and retail operations, having successfully opened and operated more than 200 stores across Apac. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading the firm’s Apac retail strategy.

Commenting on Aggarwal’s appointment, Anshul Jain, Cushman & Wakefield’s chief executive for India, Southeast Asia and Apac tenant representation, said, “Sona’s extensive experience in global retail brands and her client-side perspective will give our retail platform a competitive edge. Her leadership and expertise in the retail sector will play a key role in expanding our client partnerships and driving new growth opportunities for our retail business in the region.”

This news comes as Cushman & Wakefield continues to strengthen its presence in the Apac market. In a previous report, the company stated that corporate real estate in the region remains stable despite global volatility and shifting US trade policies.

In addition to Aggarwal’s appointment, the company also recently announced the divestment of freehold strata units at Cititech Industrial Building and Citilink Warehouse Complex for $149 million, as well as the sale of a Good Class Bungalow (GCB) site at Caldecott Hill with redevelopment potential for $62.8 million. The company remains optimistic about the growth potential in the region and is committed to providing top-notch services to its clients.
