Cbre Appoints Henry Chin Global Head Research
Henry Chin has been appointed as CBRE’s new global head of research, taking over from Richard Barkham, who will be retiring at the end of June. Chin will be leading a team of nearly 600 research experts to provide guidance to real estate investors and occupiers on the key factors influencing the commercial property market.

Chin has been with CBRE since 2014, starting as head of research for the Asia Pacific region. He then moved on to serve as head of research for EMEA from 2019 to 2020 and most recently held the positions of global COO for CBRE Research and head of investor thought leadership.
Before joining CBRE, Chin held senior roles in research and investment strategy at PGIM and Deutsche Bank Group. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Land Economics and Administration from National Taipei University, a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Reading, and a PhD in Real Estate Investment from Oxford Brookes University.
